Loni Atwood’s Fight for Awareness

At 42, Loni’s life changed in an instant. A devoted equestrian instructor and single mother of two, she went to the ER in April 2022, only to be diagnosed with Adrenal Cortical Carcinoma, a rare and aggressive cancer. Surgery in May removed the tumour, but by November, the cancer had spread to her lungs and bloodstream.

But despite the devastating news. Loni refuses to give up. She’s fighting not just for herself, but for her boys and for others facing the same battle. Through Ripple Effects, she’s sharing her story to raise awareness and push for better support for families in crisis. Her strength is a reminder that no one should have to face cancer alone.

Three women in a hospital room, one lying in bed with a nasal cannula, smiling, and the other two women visiting beside her, all wearing face masks pulled down.

With all of our support, we can turn a Ripple into a Wave. Let’s stand with Loni and other’s dealing with health challenges by providing them strength, resources, and essential funding.

Let’s keep this girl smiling and riding long into the future!
